One of the things people will ask me is, “Are high reps better than low reps, or are low reps better than high reps?” The answer depends on the goal but I cannot think of a time when you would not want to do at least some of each.
The reason you want to train low reps is to build your strength up. With more strength you will be able to have more endurance and more muscle and more mobility. But you still have to train the higher reps in order to fill all of that in. What I mean is strength raises your potential but it doesn’t actualize it, always.
