5 Tips for Snatching without Tearing Your Hands or Banging Your Forearm
** Keep a loose grip on the bell.
** Master the mechanics of the swing FIRST
** Practice the snatch from the top down
** BONUS: Practice heavy one arm swings to develop your hip drive.
** BONUS: Don’t be afraid of using hand protection, but also don’t let it allow to ignore learning good technique.
** BONUS (I don’t know why these are “bonuses”): Build volume gradually. The hands take time to toughen and so do the forearms.
