We decided to mix it up for our finisher yesterday by throwing sandbags into the mix. We elected for Zercher squats and double cleans. Zerchers are a fun one. Forces you to stabilize in a different kind of way, so you will feel it more in your back and low back. The sandbag also lends better to these than a barbell for obvious reasons. (Because I said for obvious reasons, I now feel like I shouldn’t have to say what those reasons are.)
